We envision a church that is ON-DUTY. Like the early church, we at City Church exist to demonstrate God’s love by meeting the practical needs of people around us. We believe firmly in the ministry of all believers: every member is a minister and is called of God to give sacrificially of time, talent and treasure for the building of God’s eternal kingdom. Ministry is meeting needs in love; therefore, servanthood is both taught and modeled in our church family. We believe that only those who learn to live for another person’s good truly reach their God-given potential. We are convinced that availability and total surrender to the Holy Spirit is the key to unlocking the miraculous in and through one’s life. Therefore, we are committed to helping people turn from a selfish, self-centered lifestyle to a life of selfless servanthood motivated by the love of God. We are dedicated to helping individuals discover their God-given talents and abilities and use them to His glory.
